Movable walls (also known as operable walls, demountable walls, or sliding walls) are floor-to-ceiling barriers or panels that may be moved to modify the layout of a room.

Many people are confused on how this movable wall system work. Check out this article on how we can install an operable wall.

Firstly, how to move the panels?

The entire procedure should be pleasant and safe. Grasp the PANEL on both sides of the screen in the direction of the rail with both hands, then gently pull the screen in the direction of the rail, then turn the moveable partition wall panel in the direction of the rail.

Fix them after you’ve pushed the panel into the desired position. Pay attention to the direction of the rail when pushing the panels to the junction, and then push the panel along the rail to the spot where it should be positioned.

Secondly, how to fix the panels?

Hold the panel in one hand and insert the handle into the hexagonal steel on the panel’s side at 1100 MM. Turn the handle 180 degrees clockwise (or constantly) and the telescopic seal within the panel will pop up to secure the screen.

Pull the handle up to open the telescopic seal within the panel and secure it by inserting it into the groove on the side of the panel. Please double-check that the panels are straight after assembling the entire set. If the panel is not straight, whether it is on the same plane as the rail or not, retract the upper and lower telescopic seals to adjust until the panel is straight.

Thirdly, how to operate telescopic panels?

The retractable panel is usually the last panel of the partitions; we need to push it to the desired position, then pull up the upper and lower movable seals in the side vertical groove, then place the handle in the operating hole of the retractable panel surface and turn it counterclockwise until the side of the telescopic aluminum plate is pressed against the wall.

Fourth, how to operate the pass door?

Push the pass door to the desired location and touch the screen in front of it. Pull the handle up to open the telescopic seal on the interior of the screen and secure the panel by inserting it into the groove on the side of the panel. To repair the screen, open the little door, put the handle into the operation hole on the other side of the panel, and raise the handle to open the flexible seal on the other side of the screen.

Fifth. How to collect panels?

1. If there is a pass door, open it by rotating 180 degrees through the square hole in the center of the door on both sides, loosening the top and lower seals through the transmission wheel, and then closing it.

2. Open the final panel’s top and lower seals, as well as the telescopic aluminum plate.

3. Retract the last panel’s telescopic aluminum plate such that the distance it generates may at least rotate the gap between the panels.

4. Push the panels to the screen’s location following the rail’s direction.

5. After each pair of panels has been collected in the same manner, push each of the two panels together to reduce the gap between them. If required, the top and lower moveable seals of the final panel in the storage can be opened to force the panel against the rails and the ground, preventing others from removing the panels.
